How to Donate, and Other Website Info

September 24, 2009

Morning….now there has been a bit of coverage recently and the traffic through the website is increasing. But the website isn’t quite finished yet so I thought I would let you all know how you can donate to either of the charities. In time there will be links on the homepage, but for now…..

I have set up a Cycling To The Ashes charity account if you would like to donate by cheque. Every month this account will emptied and 100% of funds donated will go directly to the charities, split 50/50. These donations will not benefit from Gift Aid, so if you can, it is best to donate on-line as below. In any case, please make cheques payable to Cycling To The Ashes and send to The Old Bakery, Finings Road, Lane End, Buckinghamshire, HP14 3ET.

To donate to the Lord’s Taverners:

1. On the main website, click on “Charities,” and “How to Donate.” There is a link to the Lord’s Taverners Everyday Hero page (Everyday Hero are like Justgiving – tax efficient – but they take less of a cut, so I think they’re better!)

To donate to the BNRT:

1. BNRT are registering with Everyday Hero right now. Fromn next week you will be able to donate in exactly the same way as in 1. above. As an alternative in the meantime you can donate by cheque but the money will be split 50/50 between the two charities.

One other thing….I am trying to work out how you can subscribe to email blog updates. Keep an eye out and please sign up, spread the word, and let’s raise loads for the two charities. Thank you!
